Who is Jesus Christ?

He is approachable.
He is quick to forgive sin.
He is no respecter of persons.

"Which Church is TRUE?"

200 years ago, a young man asked God that same question. In response, God visited him and said:
"...that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong;

and...all their creeds were an abomination in His sight;
that those professors [of religion] were all corrupt; that:

'they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me,
they teach for doctrines the commandments of men,
having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof'."
Teachings & Commandments 1:2:5

SAME situation Exists TODAY

All organized Christian churches continue to teach "commandments of men," which are contrary to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and to Christ's nature, such as:
  • God is a respecter of persons, and not approachable nor knowable
  • Only clergy are capable, permitted, or worthy of direct  communication with God
  • Christ is slow to forgive sin, requiring either money or confession to clergy in order to be absolved of sin
  • God or a true religion requires money to pay for clergy and church infrastructure
  • God no longer speaks today, provides no new scripture, and that His work is done

If all churches are wrong,
what is christ's church?

Christ declared His simple doctrine, all those who obey are of His church:
"Behold, this is my doctrine:
Whosoever repents and comes unto me, the same is my church.
Whosoever declares more or less than this, the same is not of me,
but is against me. Therefore, he is not of my church."

"...the keeper of the gate is the Holy One of Israel, and He employeth no servant there."
The New Covenants, The Second Book of Nephi, 6:11
"Was Paul therefore sent? By whom was he sent? You think it obvious no doubt, but the principle is critical to finding true faith in Jesus Christ. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If Paul was an apostle because Christ sent him – not men or man – then for a preacher to be sent to preach the truth the same should be required today as then. If Christ does not require the same then Christ has changed and we know that cannot be true, for He is the same forever. If, therefore, a preacher must be sent then Christ must do the sending. Then the only preacher you should heed must be one who declares plainly that he has been sent by God. "

"Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the vices of the world."

A Return to
Authentic CHRISTIANITY

We strive to live the simple gospel of Jesus Christ as practiced by His early disciples: caring for the poor, meeting in small communities of believers known as fellowships, and performing the ordinances of sacrament and baptism as directed by revelation. We are not an organized religion and have no paid clergy or buildings. Instead, we give our alms and tithes to care for the poor among us. Our fellowships are refuges from the abuses perpetrated by the religions of modern Christianity, whether it be abuse of power or misuse of funds.

We believe in accepting all truth, from whatever source it flows. Because the highest aspiration within most all religious traditions is for the individual to connect to God and for God to recognize and connect with the individual, all are welcome in our fellowships.

We endeavor to serve Christ by simply extending an invitation to others to repent and come unto Christ by learning of Him, and thereby becoming numbered among His church.
