COME UNTO CHRIST:
REPENT & BE BAPTIZED

Have you been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost by a person having authority from Jesus Christ to perform this ordinance, exactly like John the Baptist had?

Baptism is the act we perform to show God the Father that we are sincere in our desire to follow His Son, Jesus Christ. By being baptized we also take Christ’s name upon ourselves and become potential heirs of the Kingdom of God. Baptism will ultimately lead one to receive the Holy Ghost to be our constant companion.

Christ’s simple command to “follow me” was given repeatedly (1). He showed the way by being baptized to “fulfill all righteousness” (2). It was only after Christ was baptized that the Father commended Jesus and said He was “well pleased” (3). Christ also had His disciples baptize His followers (4). There is only “one faith” and it is in the “one Lord” whom we worship, and it requires “one baptism” to be included in the body of believers (5). Peter explained that baptism saves us (6). Christians who follow Christ will all be baptized. Baptism is required.

    Request baptism

Submit
If you have not been baptized, or would like to be baptized again, you can make a request to be baptized using the simple form on this page. Even if you are a member of another church and intend to continue to serve in another denomination of your choosing, we respect your choice of where, how, and with whom you choose to worship. However, we believe that baptism must be performed by someone having authority from Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was baptized to show by His example how to obey God, He then directed us to "Come, follow me." If Christ needed to be baptized to fulfill all righteousness, how much more do we have need to be likewise baptized?

There are those who have authority given to them from Jesus Christ to administer the ordinance of baptism. They will travel to anywhere in the world to perform the ordinance. The ordinance is free, and the service is provided without any charge or expectation of any gift or donation. Baptisms are performed by immersion in "living waters" outside of a church building using these words:

"Having authority given me of Jesus Christ, I baptize you in the name
of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Amen."

This baptism does not make you, or require you to become, a member of any organized church or religion, but is only a sign between you and God that you sincerely believe in Jesus Christ, wish to follow only Him, and keep His commandments.

The Doctrine of Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ taught what is required of us in order to be baptized
REPENT
Repentance means to turn away from sin and face God. We recognize our unacceptable behavior and forsake it, and do our best never to return to it. We try to make our behavior agree with God’s will. When we truly repent, we are forgiven. True repentance will turn our minds to Christ and give us a desire to be as He is, and to do as He does. Our hearts will turn to others with love and compassion. We will want to follow Jesus Christ's example in all things.
BELIEVE IN CHRIST
Although the Savior did not use the word “faith” in describing His doctrine, His use of the word “believe” is generally understood to be synonymous with “faith”. When we believe in Christ we are willing to believe all that He tells us is the truth. We are willing to believe in the promises He makes and the blessings He offers. When we believe in Christ, He becomes the sole recipient of our trust and our desire. We are willing to believe in the example set by Christ in all things. We will accept His commandments and walk in obedience to them.
BECOME AS
A LITTLE CHILD
Becoming as a little child means that certain qualities of character will become more pronounced in our behavior. We will be meek, humble, quick and complete when forgiving others, curious and willing to learn good things, willing to submit to correction and still love, contently reliant on our heavenly parent, happy and grateful when good things are given, and constantly growing in experience and intelligence.

christ taught his doctrine

"Behold, verily, verily, I say unto you, I will declare unto you my doctrine. And this is my doctrine, and it is the doctrine which the Father hath given unto me; and I bear record of the Father, and the Father beareth record of me, and the Holy Ghost beareth record of the Father and me; and I bear record that the Father commandeth all men, everywhere, to repent and believe in me. And whoso believeth in me, and is baptized, the same shall be saved; and they are they who shall inherit the kingdom of God. And whoso believeth not in me, and is not baptized, shall be damned. Verily, verily, I say unto you, that this is my doctrine, and I bear record of it from the Father; and whoso believeth in me believeth in the Father also; and unto him will the Father bear record of me, for he will visit him with fire and with the Holy Ghost. And thus will the Father bear record of me, and the Holy Ghost will bear record unto him of the Father and me; for the Father, and I, and the Holy Ghost are one. And again I say unto you, ye must repent, and become as a little child, and be baptized in my name, or ye can in nowise receive these things. And again I say unto you, ye must repent, and be baptized in my name, and become as a little child, or ye can in nowise inherit the kingdom of God. Verily, verily, I say unto you, that this is my doctrine, and whoso buildeth upon this buildeth upon my rock, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against them. And whoso shall declare more or less than this, and establish it for my doctrine, the same cometh of evil, and is not built upon my rock; but he buildeth upon a sandy foundation, and the gates of hell stand open to receive such when the floods come and the winds beat upon them."
